Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland work to develop their community's youth into positive contributors to society. They provide programs that are tailored to the needs of today's youth providing a safe place to learn and play sports. Their goal is to serve 5,000 youth - 10% of the Oakland Public School District's enrollment. Their sports programs develop fitness, positive use of leisure time, basic skills and unite for the purpose of providing structured inter-club activities, events, sport leagues and tournaments.
