A joint benefit for the Guild of Sommeliers Education Foundation and the Olympic Club Foundation, the Ultimate Wine Dinner and Auction has become San Francisco's most exclusive & extraordinary charitable wine dinner & auction.

On October 3, 2009, over a dozen Master Sommeliers and 24 vintners will gather at the prestigious Olympic Club Lakeside Clubhouse on Lake Merced to host wine aficionados at this incredible dinner.

Guests have the opportunity to meet winery owners and principals and to learn from the Master Sommeliers, considered the country’s foremost wine educators. They enjoy a sumptuous four course meal with each course paired with wines poured by the table vintner host. To take the dinner over the top, the Master Sommeliers will pull the cork on rare wines from Guild of Sommeliers cellar.

The evening begins with a champagne reception and silent auction and concludes with a live auction of rare wines, extraordinary events and wine country travel.
