Foundation Raises Over $115,000!

The Olympic Club Foundation's annual campaign concluded on April 30th. This year, through the generosity of our members, we beat all previous records and raised over $115,000 to support youth athletic programs around the Bay Area. A list of the major contributors will be included in next month's Olympian.

Total contributions exceeded last year by over 25% and more Olympians contributed to the campaign this year than last.

Future Olympian articles and the display case at The Downtown Club and Lakeside will profile the grants that our Foundation makes on behalf of its members. We estimate that the grants budget this year will exceed $350,000. The Foundation's strategic plan anticipates annual grants at the $1 million level by 2012, and we are on the way to that goal.

The Foundation thanks all our contributors, tournament participants and the membership a large f their generosity an support. We are really helping our Club to make a difference n the lives of thousands of young athletes.
